ALKALINITY

To all of the patients
at 21st Century Medicine,
This month I
would like to tell you about a 62 year-old professional man, a retired
executive at General Electric. He was 75 pounds overweight and complained of
chronic fatigue, fibromyalgia, and brain fog. Even 9 to 10 hours of sleep
did not restore him to a high energy level. He came into the office as a
sweetaholic (eating lots of white sugar, white flour, and things starting
with the letter “c,” like cakes, cookies, crumpets, cokes, caffeine, and “c’alcohol”).
Physical examination
indicated this patient’s blood pressure was elevated 10 points on the
systolic and diastolic, and his pulse was relatively irregular. He had
diabetes mellitus and moderate kidney failure, in addition to diabetic
retinopathy and coronary artery disease. Significant laboratory screening
revealed cardiac enlargement and 20% of ideal kidney function.
Prescription for
Alkalinity
This patient was
placed on an alkalarian diet tailored for diabetics, as explained in Dr.
Robert O. Young’s book, The pH Miracle for Diabetes. Over the
next year, this patient lost the 75 pounds of excess weight. He focused on
an alkalarian diet, which included the recipes in Young’s book. He also
followed my Chelation Therapy program to pull out arsenic, cadmium, mercury,
lead, and aluminum from his body.
This man started his
own business and preached the gospel of alkalinity. He became generally
successful and is now significantly better in body, mind, and spirit. I have
followed this man’s case. He is still living a creative, active life,
living instead of just getting by. All of our doctors have seen similar
results with their patients.
Benefits of
Alkalinity
In an outcome-based
study, I have routinely observed that people who are steadfast in their
alkalinity lose weight faster and convert fat to muscle. This is because an
acidic body burns muscle but stores fat, while an alkaline body converts fat
to muscle and energy. People following the American diet—high in white
sugar, white flour, and other “no-no’s”—are keeping their bodies acidic,
burning muscle and storing fat.
We believe alkalinity
plays a role in many issues other than weight loss, however. We think eating
a more alkaline based diet allows people to live better, longer, by
suppressing the overgrowth of yeast, mold, and fungi in the body. When in
overgrowth stages, these microscopic life forms weaken the immune system,
making a person more susceptible to all sorts of diseases and health
problems, including heart disease, diabetes, cancer, obesity, and chronic
fatigue.
We feel that for most
people an alkaline based diet is an important foundation for wellness. This
means:

Eating according to an alkalarian diet program, which is included in
such books as Dr. Young’s book,
The pH Miracle.

Following our Chelation Therapy and detoxification protocols, both
oral and intravenous.

Reducing stress.
These steps have helped many people lose
