What are the types of discounts available at 21st
Century Medicine on these uncovered services?
1. Volume Discount: We reduce your price successively more, by 2%
each time, for the first 10 I.V.
treatments you receive.
2. Prepayment Discount: We give you a free seventh I.V. when you prepay
for six.
Note: These discounts can be combined.
What is an example of a Volume Discount?
You pay $105 for your first 1 1/2 hour Chelation, $103 for your second,
$101 for your third, $93 for your seventh, and $84 for every Chelation after
your tenth. You pay even less if a Prepayment Discount applies.
Note: We only offer pre-payment discounts, not volume
discounts, on high dose Vitamin C I.V.’s.
Why are we offering these discounts?
Many people who would benefit greatly from our uncovered services
believe they cannot afford them. These discounts provide a way to
appreciably reduce the cost of these services, providing incentives for you
to utilize our treatments so you can realize maximum improvement in your
health. This reduces our staff time in processing services, leading to
savings we pass on to you. We want to acknowledge your commitment as a
partner in your health.
At 21st Century Medicine, we use an integrative
approach to medicine that combines the best of traditional techniques with
the best of nutritional, orthomolecular, and/or preventive techniques.
Health insurance and Medicare cover most of traditional medicine, while they
currently do not cover most of nutritional, orthomolecular and preventive
medicine. This means that many innovative, safe and effective treatments are
“uncovered services.” We want to acknowledge and match your financial
commitment the best we can.
What is currently happening with Medicare and health
insurance?
The “hue and cry” for universal medical care (i.e., socialized medicine)
has been iterated and reiterated for over half a century. One of our trusted
actuaries assures us that 2/3 of every healthcare dollar under managed care
in this country goes to those who regulate it. Only 1/3 of each dollar goes
for the actual medical care, which the Medicare or insurance manager then
decides whether an individual should have or not. Thus, medical care is
determined too much by the whim of politics and too little by the
effectiveness and safety of a particular modality of treatment. In the case
of Medicare, the government takes taxpayers’ money to render universal
Medicare to people who are at least 65 years of age, and again the
regulators decide which treatments are covered or not. Medicare does not pay
for many integrative and natural treatments.
Why do we believe in our discount service methods?
A major goal of our discount system is that it enhances the two party
economic system where the patient and the doctor make all of the decisions
for the mutual benefit of both, but primarily that of the patient. The third
party, which is the government or an insurance program, is further bypassed.
This represents a considerable restraint on the growing cost of Medicare and
health insurance in our country. |
